Cauda equina syndrome is a condition affecting low back ( lumbar spine region) causing compression of nerve roots supplying lower limbs and perineal region.this condition presents as weakness of both lower limbs one side more than other. May be associated with foot drop.. there can be bladder symptoms in the form of urinary incontinence.
