Delirium is a condition where there is acute onset confusion irrelevant talking sometimes associated with agitation. Patients will not have attention span.it can come with acute fever especially high grade temperature, alcoholics when on withdrawal symptoms.it can come in patients with dementia when they develop symptoms such as urinary retention or low back ache
